What our customers say

After we implemented Schilling Publishing we can see that all parts of our organisation are connected through new processes that go across functions, sections, and departments. Schilling is an ERP system that supports all the work routines a publisher needs. With Schilling our employees can see how the things they do are connected to what others do – they get a better overview and more knowledge and are able to do their job better.

Det Norske Samlaget

”Our investment in the Schilling system has really paid off. The current system maintenance costs ensure that we are always up to date. The system is continuously being developed to match the changes in the publishing business. The system is expanded all the time, and you will never end up in a situation where you have to change to a new system or where the operation system is no longer supported.”

Antique Collectors' Club

”In an industry where the rules and infrastructure are constantly changing it is vital to find a business partner with 100 % focus on our business and a flexible system that can be quickly adapted to the market requirements. We find that Schilling provide carefully thought out solutions in a positive frame of mind that make the daily work easier for us and for our customers.”

Knowledge and experience create a sense of security. There is no doubt that having a professional supplier behind you gives you peace of mind. Schilling's employees know what they are talking about, and it is obvious that they have implemented systems many times before. They always smile readily and nothing surprises them, which has made it ideal for us when it comes to carrying out our daily work during the process.

Nyt Nordisk Forlag

”We save both time and money with Schilling Royalty. We can send out settlements several times a year and have the entries posted automatically. We can keep track of all the transactions on each individual book directly from Schilling and follow up on a continuous basis.

Now we can also send out royalty settlements via e-mail. This saves both time and paper and makes it easy for us to send a copy if somebody has lost the original paper copy.”

Gyldendal

It was important to us to find a supplier who knows our business routines and who is adaptable in a world like ours that is constantly changing, just like our needs. Therefore it is important that the operations, development, and maintenance of the company's IT system is very smooth.

”We selected Schilling because they could supply a standard solution that handles our work routines and issues in the best possible way and without too many adaptations.”

Tapir Akademisk Forlag

”Norstedts Publishing Group has chosen Schilling Publishing as their central business system to cover the entire value chain including finance, product management, marketing, customer service, order processing, and royalty. Norstedts chose Schilling primarily because they want to further improve their internal business processes. Schilling has in-depth knowledge of the publishing industry and has many years' experience and know-how about how to implement a business system with large publishing companies.”

Norstedts Publishing Group

Schilling offers a standard system specially adapted to the publishing industry and it is already being used by several large publishers in Scandinavia and England. The system can be used without any major adjustments apart from integration with some external systems, such as Bokrondellen. Schilling's employees know the system and the publishing business well, which is essential during the development phases and also during the implementation.

”Erhvervsskolernes Forlag know Schilling from several colleagues in the industry, so we were not the least bit nervous about starting a working relationship with the Danish software company to supply a royalty solution with integration to our existing finance system. Our choice of Schilling is based on many different things but primarily on their many years of experience with and knowledge about publishers. And we know that the system works for many other publishers in Scandinavia and England.”

Erhvervsskolernes Forlag

”An investment in the future – we reckon we will improve our efficiency because the module can be used for knowledge sharing across the entire organisation. We work continuously on making the most of all the options in Product Management so that we can optimise our publication processes in as many ways as possible.

Product Management has given us a clear return on investment primarily because we have saved time in many areas. We only need to record data once rather than several times, and where previously it might take two minutes to record a product we can now do it in two seconds. Administrative tasks do not create any value – thus, the administrative routines should be reduced to a minimum. What creates value for us is that with Product Management we can focus on our business and continuous development.”
